2301 N. Broad St. is a Victorian style, turn of the Century, 16,000 square foot mixed-use Property. The building was completely “gutted” and re-built in 2005 and 2006. Both the interior and exterior of the Property are “new construction” quality. The building is now home to 12 large apartments, NovaCare Outpatient Rehabilitation and United Tailoring.
The off-campus apartment entrance is located on Dauphin Street. The building houses 8 two bedroom apartments and 4 one bedroom apartments. The two bedroom apartments range in size from approx. 850-950 square feet. The one bedroom apartments are approx. 550 square feet.

About the Off-Campus Apartments
Compare 2301 N. Broad St. to any of the large “close to campus” apartment buildings and the difference is clear. The competition uses a “dorm” style approach to housing. They generally pack 4 to 6 students into small apartments with little to no common living area. Bunk beds, small rooms and no personal space is the norm.
At 2301 N. Broad St. you can expect a new, modern, luxury apartment with plenty of space, large room sizes, architect designed open air floor plans, the highestlevelsof construction quality and loads of modern amenities. Our apartments are approx. twice the square footage of the competition!!!!

These 4 Layouts Are Common for a Reason
Perhaps the biggest mistake a webmaster can make is hubris, to believe that he or she can do it better only to reinvent the proverbial wheel. True innovation is necessary, and we should encourage it, but there is a reason that these 4 common page layouts have maintained their popularity over the years: they work, effectively and efficiently. With that in mind, let’s explore four tried and true approaches.
2-Column Layout
The classic two-column layout has been in use since the first usage of HTML. It invokes the straightforward appeal of a newspaper layout. The design goal here is to put the content front and center, and to make it as accessible and readable for the visitor as possible. Typically, the columns sit below a header, and the large column uses 75% of available space while the smaller column uses the rest. Generally, the primary column is for content, and the secondary column is for navigation and advertisement.
3-Column Layout
The more modern three-column layout strives for similar goals while making more room for advertisement. Modern webpages are busy, and even when using a header row for navigation, hyperlinks and hooks can easily consume a single non-content column. This approach works best when individual content blocks are relatively small. Unnecessary use of multiple pages can frustrate readers. Developers should not use the additional column without reason. They should avoid dead space, and they should balance the navigation and advertisement between available columns.
Flash Layout
Newspaper-inspired layouts are best for read content, but the Internet has come a long way. Today, a great deal of the media is video and interactive content. For these purposes, the classic layouts fall well short. The problem with advanced media is compatibility. The beauty of a Flash layout is that allows the developer to create very sophisticated designs, but Flash encapsulates those designs, and provides a familiar interface with which all modern browsers can be compatible.
Magazine Layout
The magazine-style layout has come into fashion over the last several years. Essentially, it is either a two-column or a three-column layout that accentuates the header. The benefit of such a format is that it achieves the readability and accessibility of the classic layouts. But it also allows the designer to provide greater focus to media, including aspects of Flash layouts, and incorporate more sophisticated navigation techniques. In advanced configurations, the header actually collapses away, and this provides the visitor with the best of both worlds.
Conclusion
Before designing a website layout, consider these four layouts extensively. Whichever web hosting option you have chosen will most likely have resources available for looking at samples of different styles. Generally, the best tactic is to choose one and then customize it for your specific purposes. Only design a layout from scratch when a site’s purpose truly calls for it.

Add a Personal Touch to Your Correspondence
Posted by Guest - October 3rd, 2011
When you send any kind of business correspondence to a customer, vendor or
business associate, you want your message to be memorable. One of the ways to
create a lasting impression is to add a personal but professional touch to all
of your correspondence with personalized stationary and mailing labels.
Letterhead
Your letters will stand out more if you surround your text with a template
that will get the recipient’s attention. Have personalized letterhead
created that uses your company’s contact information, your name and your
company logo. It adds an air of professionalism to your correspondence as well
as creating a correspondence format that reminds the recipient about your business.
Remember to add your company motto at the bottom of your letterhead in quotation
marks. A catchy slogan will give customers something to remember you by.
Address Labels
When you are trying to personalize your business correspondence, you need to take
advantage of every element of your letter. One area where you can continue your
personalization is with recipient mailing labels and return address labels.
Have customized recipient labels printed that will allow you to put your
recipient’s name and address on something that stands out. Try something
as simple as having your company logo as a background watermark on your mailing
labels. That way you can clearly print the recipient’s name and address
on the label while still maintaining the personalized theme of the letter.
A return address label with your company name and logo on it can add another layer
of professionalism to your letter that will grab the recipient’s attention
before he or she even opens it. The use of brilliant colors will enhance the
personalized look of your return address labels and clearly announce who is
sending the letter.
To gain more market share in your industry, you need to take every opportunity for
your business to stand out. Personalized business correspondence lets your recipient
know that you take your company’s image seriously and that your company is worth
the additional attention. It helps to create anticipation for your correspondence and
gives your letters a higher sense of credibility.
